Dear Friends across the Churches of God General Conference, Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We are so thankful for each of you and for the difference you are making in the Kingdom of God! The Churches of God Women’s Ministries Networking Team has been at work throughout the last year, seeking God’s guidance and wisdom as we desire to do His will in leading this ministry. One of the big tasks at hand was to create an e-mail data-base that will allow us to communicate more effectively with women, churches and leaders across the denomination. With our secretary’s hard work, I think we have jumped over that hurdle and Mailchimp will be a great tool to get information to you.
The CGWM has been in the process of reorganizing and refocusing how we will be better able to equip and empower women to live boldly for God. We have formed a “Dream Team” that has been prayerfully seeking God’s guidance and wisdom for how we are to accomplish this mission. This process is still in the early stages but we are moving forward, even though it may be at a snail’s pace. We are excited to announce that the Retreat Director Position has been f illed by Co-Directors: Clara Ames and Lynn Kaufman. The dates for the 2018 Flourish Conference will be March 2nd - 4th of 2018. Please be in prayer for all that will take place that weekend, and for those who are working on the planning and preparing for this God-filled weekend. Women,
please put this on your calendar and your church’s calendar and plan to be there! God always shows up and He always has a special blessing for those who come. If you feel called to help with the retreat in any way please contact Clara, clara.eh.ames@gmail.com or Lynn, lynn-arniekaufman@juno.com. In your message, please indicate what area you are willing to serve in and include any previous experience in that area. The Committee will contact you if that skill/talent is needed.
